Mark Giordano just misses the top 10 IMO. He's in that all-star defenseman tier, but just a notch below the real elite. Kinda like Kronwall, Bouwmeester, Fowler, Seabrook type.

if Giordano was on a playoff team, he would have been on team Canada.. he like Girardi was also undrafted.. 11 goals 41 pts 52 games on a rebuilding team is pretty good..
