It's amusing how Ovechkin always gets bashed for being a "Powerplay specialist" yet we bash Nash for scoring the majority of his goals 5 on 5.

The Ovechkin hate on the main board is hilarious. You'd swear the guy had 0 value the way some people talk about him.

How is he not scoring exactly? His career average goals/game (excluding rookie year) is 0.452 with 0.067 stdev.. His Max is .574. His min (excluding rookie year) is 0.36. This year he is a 0.415 - right where he usually is.

Bruins might be peaking too early. They lost to Carolina riding a similar streak into the playoffs a couple years ago.

Pens are also faltering as of late. Shaky D and goaltending.

It's not about the best team in the playoffs. It rarely is. Hot team usually is way more dangerous.

That being said, Philly may also be peaking too early. But they look ridiculous right now. We don't have the grit to outlast them, I don't think.
