Not sure about y'all but tonight's win vs the Pens and the Isles fan base all happy and **** actually is bugging the crap out of me.

Maybe it's because I've been a fan since the early 70's and still remembers vividly JP Parise scoring an OT playoff winner vs us at MSG in '75 eliminating us. And maybe it's because all those painful playoff losses year after year after f'n year to them in the early 80's as those arrogant pieces of **** went on to win Cups, my hate for them is still almost as big for them as it was back than and that's with the being irrelevant for most part for the past 35 years.

I don't know...I feel kind of weird because I know it shouldn't piss me off so much but it does. I can't stand the Pens trust me but there is no doubt in my mind I want them to win the series. You guys feel the same way I do?
Same here.

I don't care what the Islanders do, tbh.

I have good friends that are Isles fans and we enjoy ribbing on each other and commiserating with one another (except for this season)

I pretty much have a good relationship with their fans. In the age of the internet, I judge you on your fans.

If they blow this they will become a running joke of the league for a long time. What a shame.

I know I said it earlier in the thread tonight and a few others also mentioned. Before we crown the Jackets, we do need to put a little pause to this enjoyment we are feeling see these same Jackets pulled the very same exact antics vs the Caps last year as heavy underdogs and beating them at their barn first two games of that playoff series.

That said, I do sense this Jacket team to being quite a bit better than last year's Jacket team and if Kucherov gets suspended next game than all bets are off but I would not be shocked one iota if Lightning win Game 3 for sure if not both games in Columbus....just sayin!

Plus, Washington wasn't a bunch of cottontail little bitches like the Lightning are.

I've been watching since early 2nd period and think I've seen Hayes twice

Jets have lived off Wheeler-Scheifele wizardry. It's been tough in that they haven't had room to do the stuff they are used to doing.
blues have been very good in their d-zone.

It's based on both:
  1. Determining the NHL Draft Order
  2. All teams missing the playoffs are in the Lottery
  3. Teams with the least points get more chances at winning the Lottery
  4. The 1st overall pick is awarded by a drawing of ping pong balls
  5. The 2nd overall pick is awarded by a drawing of ping pong balls
  6. The 3rd overall pick is awarded by a drawing of ping pong balls
  7. Remaining lottery teams, sorted by points, fill out picks 4-15
  8. Ties are broken by teams' total number of regulation and non-shootout overtime wins (ROW), and then head-to-head if still tied
  9. Playoff teams that did not win their divisions and did not make the conference finals, sorted by points, are assigned the next picks
  10. Playoff teams that won their divisions and did not make the conference finals, sorted by points, are assigned the next picks
  11. Conference finals losers sorted by points are assigned picks 28 and 29
  12. Stanley Cup runner-up is assigned pick 30
  13. Stanley Cup champion is assigned pick 31
Thank you. Looked complicated at first, but that’s pretty solid.

Lowry is no joke. Trying to take heads off

The Copp-Lowry-Tanev line is the best checking line in all of hockey imo.

Jets lack a 2nd unit. Already benching Hayes.

Laine doesn't check. Fore or back. Not the most effective 5v5 player.
