Yeah IMO our best and most realistic chance of increasing draft capital is having St.Louis win this series. Dallas has been playing good hockey but even if they beat the preds they gotta win another series to get their first rounder too.

Martin Jones really stinks. That San Jose team would be my pick to go all the way if they had even a league average goalie.

Blasphemy. I will NEVER root for the Piles, Devils, or Flyers. You obviously weren't around when they were winning cups 35-40 years ago. It was brutal.

Not sure about y'all but tonight's win vs the Pens and the Isles fan base all happy and shit actually is bugging the crap out of me.
Maybe it's because I've been a fan since the early 70's and still remembers vividly JP Parise scoring an OT playoff winner vs us at MSG in '75 eliminating us. And maybe it's because all those painful playoff losses year after year after f'n year to them in the early 80's as those arrogant pieces of shit went on to win Cups, my hate for them is still almost as big for them as it was back than and that's with the being irrelevant for most part for the past 35 years.

It’s brutally hard to cheer for them, but man is it nice seeing the Penguins getting their asses handed to them.
Dallas and St.Louis are playing good hockey and getting tremendous goaltending right now. I just want a sure shot and that's the Blues knocking out the Jets as soon as possible.
He really is a complete hockey player. I never gave him his due credit over the years. He plays all situations and is the definition of a hockey player.

Absolutely. The Piles are number 1 on my hate list. I wouldn't piss on them if they were on fire. It's obvious a generation has gone by since the Piles were contenders and so many posters here weren't even born when they were winning. They don't understand what we went thru in the late 70's/early 80's.
He's made one tremendous hit in the first haven't really noticed him much at all
