Anyone see the 3rd goal by the habs last night? I think it was Mcquaid swinging his stick like an ax on whoever the player was in front of net? and then proceeds to push and shove him. It seemed pretty dangerous and thug like. I haven't seen it talked about though.

NHL has changed draft lottery from 5 teams to 14 teams.

The 2013 NHL Draft Lottery, to be held this year on Monday, April 29, will be the first in NHL history where 14 clubs have a shot at No. 1

It was always 14 teams. The change is that winning the lottery now gives you the number one pick rather than bumping you up only four slots.
The Oilers are totally going to finish 9th in the West and win the lottery.

I watching NHL live and it seems that 2 black ( I use the word black for lack of a better term) players may go top 10.That's pretty historic.

May not be the right place for this but I'm gonna say it anyway. It's not offensive if you say "that spanish guy" or "asain guy", so why should that be offensive? But yes, that is pretty significant.

Afro-american or afro-canadian would be a more polite term. However, yes hockey's growth in a new community is always good news.

Going through the history of baseball in Japan, I honestly wish the main powers of the hockey world (NHL, IIHF, Hockey Canada, NHLPA/Star Players, KHL) would make a bigger effort to market the sport in Asia.

Can't say I'm too familiar with any Asian players other than that fake guy Buffalo drafted and Richard Park.

****sburgh up 1-0.

Must be nice to be Chris Kunitz. Cindy does all the work and Kunitz just has to be open to shoot.

Does Pittsburgh have no one better than Matt Cooke to be put on Malkin-Neal line? Guess it doesn't matter when you have a generational lottery talent.
