Also, up here, TSN hockey coverage is basically unwatchable because regardless of where Toronto are at as a franchise, they get 50%+ of any broadcast.

Personally, I don’t want either team to win. I might give the slight edge to Toronto because one of my friends is a Bruins fan and he’s been annoying lately so I want him to be sad. Plus Toronto’s probably the easier team for Columbus to beat

I can only imagine, I get annoyed just from how much the Canadian media hockey podcasts talk about them and then they justify hoping the Leafs are good with “it’s better for hockey” which really just means “better ratings for us”

I’m telling you, the stars don’t align like this often for the Rangers. Sure, it’s not perfect (Tampa, Dallas tbd), but it’s better than it pretty much ever goes.

It pains me to say it, but the Islanders are winning the cup. We can’t have nice things.

Maybe a slight overreaction. Their PDO is through the roof. I’m getting a bit scared, but I still believe they won’t win.

The Leafs mods on this site are some really good people. For that reason I want them to win. However, most of the Leafs fans I personally know are some of the most unbearable shit stains to ever exist. It is for that more significant reason that I am rooting for Boston, HARD.

On a side note, I think this is the most entertaining playoff hockey that I have seen in a long time.

The further that Dallas goes in the playoffs the more likely they sign Zuccarello this summer - up until they win the Cup because then they don't need him.

Well hopefully they do. But really if it comes to two 1st rounders for Zuccarello that's pretty outrageous compensation for us. I would have been fine with just one in the late teens to mid 20's.

I hear ya. I have good friends who are Leafs fans, who have opinions that I respect; and who watched as much playoff hockey as me over the years, despite Toronto being ass.

They are collateral damage however, in the more important fight against the idiot masses.

I can't bring myself to follow in Icarus' wingbeats in this case though. Even if the Rangers benefited from them winning a round or two, I'd be cheering to get them out of the playoffs as early as possible.

I am from the northeast (NJ). And I know Boston fans are terrible, but Leafs fans are some of the worst fans in all of sports. It’s close, though.
