Good news is the next game is against the Bruins. With this roster sans Kreider, Fast, and whoever else, I doubt we can get to OT against Boston.

It pisses me off to see great talents like Dahlin and Eichel going to waste on such a trash franchise. Its like whoever is running things doesn't even want to improve the team, they just want to be gifted high end talent through the draft year after year and hope everything works out. 5 points in their last 15 games. f*** you Buffalo, despicable franchise.

Quick is out the door this summer and it looks like he's checked out and turned his focus on taking all the free toiletries and light bulbs.

Did some people really think they were gonna pass us? So happy Edmonton is lightning them up.
 
When was the time a team missed the playoffs having one guy score 40 goals or more/115 points or more and another guy scoring 50 goals or more and 100 points or more???
 
If Montreal makes the playoffs (obviously not a guarantee they do) Price has to be considered for the Vezina. They are riding him every game right to the end.

2 of the top 4 scorers in the league, yet as a team, they are 20th in goals per game. 25th in goals against per game.

And it doesn't look to be getting better anytime soon. The have ZERO depth, their goaltending sucks and their prospects are average. McD and Drai will continue putting up crazy numbers but they will continue to suck.

That is how good Connor McDavid is ... you put a dude who just discovered fire on your 1st line and it's still one of the best in the league. Should have last year's Hart trophy and this year's.

Also I don't think I've heard Mikko Rantanen's name in about 3 months.

3 point game would have been nice but in the end you're probably right it was more important to get Anaheim the two points.
 
I feel bad for Buffalo fans to an extent. That’s a loyal hockey market and you can just read the Sabres board to understand the mood of fans.

Sure they’re excited about the tank, but it’s become the only thing they can look forward to.
