Farabee is the only one that is a question here. Freshman, even though a 1st rounder having a great season, leaving. Wonder if it had anything to do with Quinn leaving BU.

Panarin - Dubois - Gallagher
Domi - Duchene - Atkinson
Drouin - Danault - Anderson
Jenner - Kotkaniemi - Foligno

Werenski - Jones
Murray - Weber
Mete/Nutivaara - Petry

Price
Bobrovsky

Somebody put CBJ and Montreal together and I STILL don't think they'd get past round 2

I was a little surprised by that. I figured on him spending at least two years there.

If someone NJD, LAK (leading), DET (later) win tonight, we the 2nd-4th last spots are suddenly close enough to us to dream. Dallas with a 3-0 lead over the Jets is about to 95% clinch a spot.

Ugh. I hate having to even care about Buffalo. No one else has in about 90 years at this point.

The annoying thing is that you see teams that basically use the draft as a form of welfare. The only way they can get players is by having a top 10 pick and they literally do nothing beyond that.

Forget about rewarding teams for the amount of points they earn post TDL, how about we start taking away lottery balls for every time they’re a lottery team beyond a certain number of consecutive years or years within a certain time period?

Or after a team picks in the top 3 their lottery odds are halved the following year?

Because at some point there are literally teams whose entire strategy is to get a top 10 pick and do nothing else....ever.

Mittelstadt a healthy scratch tonight.
Chytil only has like 1-2 less points then him. I don't even wanna know how insufferable these boards would be if we had Mittelstadt and he played the way he has this year

Sad thing is that most of the teams around us have about 3 less OT loses.

If we take away three of our loser points, to be on par with them, we’re sitting at 68 points and essentially neck and neck with NJ for fourth.

Put the top 50 prospects available in bubble wrap and lay them on the ground in a designated area and every team sends their GM and 1 AGM and you get what you can carry back to your team's touch down zone.

And you know what’s going to happen too.

We’re going to be so focused on holding them off, and maybe even Anaheim, only to have them win the lottery from one of the slots we were previously in.
That shitbox team was f***ing 6th in the league at Christmas. How do you go from 6th in the NHL to 6th in Tankathon.com over half a season.

Of course, for all we know the player the Rangers would take 7th is the same they would’ve taken third or fifth. And there’s a very real possibility that player is not who the board would’ve chosen in any of those three slots.

It's just that I tried all season to not get worked up about the draft position, but now that it's the home stretch and the Rangers have been steadily dropping ... then Buffalo drops out of the sky and lands on them...

Let’s go St Louis and Nashville tonight. Perhaps the Rangers get lucky and Winnipeg drops in their division
Nashville had their chances and they lost their last two recently vs the Jets in convincing fashion. I think the game in hand and being at least 2 points down may be a bit too much to overcome for them to grab the division.

Buffalo has OTT/DET/NYI as their next 3

Rangers have BOS/STL/PHI

If we somehow end up higher than them after that, then LOL
