Never knew they had monitors embedded in the floor of the benches... Pretty awesome.... How many NHL arenas do this?

Honestly this makes so much sense that I feel dumb. I've seen coaches staring at the floor of the bench a million times and I don't know why I never made this connection.

haha and the guy who I said had a great third ends it in OT!!! Edler very nice!

All NHL arenas now have to have the monitors embedded in the floors. I was fortunate last week to get my seats upgraded to right behind the benches at MSG. Walking past the bench after the game, I could see the monitors in the floors. IIRC, it's just one large screen, and it's split with different views. So on the left is the main screen of what's being televised. On the right, are 6 to 8 smaller screens with the views from the top of the goals, the new blue line camera views from both side. It was cool to see them up close.

Also I believe if one team's monitors aren't working, they can complain to the ref and they will shut down the other teams monitors, so that the other team doesn't have an unfair advantage.

Anaheim up with a minute left and lose in regulation 5-4. Garbage

Lol I keep telling you guys not to get your hopes up with the tanking. Blues tie it with 1 minute left, and then score the GWG 15 seconds after that.

Everyone keeps waiting for the Rangers to fall apart but they barely even have the time left to do that. 34-34-14 is comin' in hot.

Did the Islanders lose Lehner? If so, buh bye Islanders.
Greiss has been at least as good, arguably better.

Now both goalies were getting unsustainably good results, but if they fall back down to earth it is likely more due to regression rather than Lehner getting injured.

No tank with that record.....last time to load up is at the draft this year shop Kreider and Brady for futures then strategically reload

I'm more concerned with the Rangers GAINING ground on other teams than trying to watch them fall. I would prefer not to see a late season surge into 12th overall

It's possible, although it does seem like the lack of depth is finally starting to catch up to them. The top line has also cooled down quite a bit

After so many years being in the playoff race, where teams would often gain on the Rangers or the Rangers would gain on other teams... it's hard to remember that the teams below us in the standings are legitimately bad. Hoping they win games is just setting up for disappointment.

What else do we have to root for the rest of the way? I'm just hoping to move up to 7th. Anything higher would be gravy. A friend of mine is hoping for 4th-5th. Now that is almost impossible and setting oneself up for disappointment.

Those bottom 4 are not moving. Devils are scary bad, LA cannot score, Detriot is worthless, and Ottawa is..... A team #dorion.exe

Anyways, its still feasible that the Rangers end up in that 27th overall spot, which is top 5. Chicago is still scoring 900 goals a game, Edmonton HAS to look good for the sake of McDavid's future with them, Vancouver is in the same boat, and Anaheim still has the firepower to be better than the Rangers.

Lets remember that we have 2 top 6 players on this team right now... The rest are 3rd line fodder. The rangers are no longer in a position where they have to "stop winning", they are now more likely to not be able to win

Again, I'm more concerned with the Rangers all of a sudden gaining points and passing teams like Vancouver, Edmonton and Florida. If they would finish below those three teams, that's a good spot. That's #7, assuming no one jumps up. Perhaps they get lucky and Chicago passes them for #6.
