He brings it on himself
I guess, everyone is allowed an opinion. Bern is a little "out there" with his opinions. I AM out there sometimes too. Probably the main difference is, I try and not to "push" my opinions too hard. I say it once, maybe twice.....but never insist that I am right and everybody is wrong. Not saying that IS what he does, just might be. How is that for being politically correct? I have learned that from our current President.

The crest, but they aren't doing the traditional diagonal letters. I probably worded that wrong.

Not sure I ever mentioned this on here, but the diagonal letters are the reason I am a Rangers fan haha. I was 7 when I started watching NHL highlights on TV and thought it was weird the Rangers were the only team who didn't have a logo on their jersey. So I started following them

The enhanced stream is kinda cool, but I think they’ve made the infographics too big. The best thing that ever happened to hockey TV was HD combined with wider and bigger screens. Reducing that by 20% is too much.

This is a rather enjoyable ASG. I love watching Josi and Burns, even when they are only giving 10%.

Although I’m still furious over the ADA snub.

Huh, that’s one of the things that I didn’t like about the Rangers. That’s why I loved the Liberty jerseys they had a while ago.

The NHL finally leaning into PK Subban and his greatness is fun to watch

Guy should be a much bigger star for the league. He’s literally the perfect spokesperson for growing the game
He’s a legend. Great player and an even better personality. But didn’t they already televise/promote a bunch of off-the-ice PK stuff over the past 5-6 years?

I mean they may but I don’t remember them doing this sort of stuff

McDavid might be the best player in the league but he’s boring as hell. Subban is an amazing player and even better personality

He reminds me a lot of Russell Wilson. Very underrated player, with a great personality who should be an example to others

They did stuff. Not to this extent, from what I remember, but hey. The more personality the better. I agree with you about McDavid. Such a dull personality, even though he’s recently gotten a bit better.

NHL: "Let's honor these female hockey players"
CBC: "Let's just ruin the moment by talking about something else and ask Crosby some questions"

Last night, there was definitely a feel of “can you believe a GIRL could skate that fast?” coming off the NBC crew.
Lmao no. I think they were just shocked that someone could skate faster than some of the fastest hockey players in the world. And besides, it’s no secret that men, on average, are more physically equipped than women. It’s not a knock on anyone. It’s just how it is. Plus, she was short, which is yet another disadvantage.

Lmao no. Women’s speed skating records, for example, aren’t quite as fast as men’s, but they’re in the same basic range. Where the men’s record might be 33 seconds, the women’s might be 36. Yes, I looked that up, but it just confirmed what I already thought.

It’s no surprise at all that one of the best woman hockey players in the world would be right there with the men in terms of skating ability. Or at least it SHOULD be no surprise, which is essentially my point.

The big difference here is that in speed skating, speed is all that matters so you automatically get the best in the world competing, whereas in the NHL All Star game you have the best overall players, not necessarily the fastest so it's closer.

I guess the outrage over the passing competition time wasn't enough even though all of the indignant white knights got Decker paid for a competition she didn't even win. No matter what the NHL does someone will find some way to complain about how unfairly women are being treated. :nopity:
