Does the lottery take ROW into account? Or is it only points/standings?

Points/standings but the standings can be and usually are impacted by ROW.

For instance if we find ourselves in a 4 way tie at the end of the season at some position, we're going to be the lowest of the 4 due to ROW.

Provided that LA doesn't say "f*** it", I think the path 5 is pretty clear.

The thing about the grouping of teams we're with right now in the standings is almost all of them either won't sell because they're still in it, don't have much to sell or are Ottawa who doesn't fit into either category, but they're so far behind that it doesn't make a difference.

Detroit has pieces to sell, Anaheim does too. Neither of them are going to be gutting their team to the extent that the Rangers will though it may not matter.

Rangers get another should be tired opponent tomorrow and Winnipeg will also be playing 3 in 4 on Tuesday though its b2bs a day off and then a game for them. Plus its more like 3 in 4.5.

Though its Toronto and Winnipeg and it shouldn't matter. As long as they take those games seriously, we should dock an L in both.

It had to be done. Their GM moving to the coaching positon kinda makes sense. They don’t want to bring up Eakins from San Diego and mess up their players development and pay another coach for the last 25 or so games? It’s become a more who stays or goes next year under a new coach next year.
