Yup just 6 back of the Rangers and Ottawa is 7 back for worst in the league.

4 back, but we have a game in hand. If we lose tonight, we'll be in good shape with Arizona and Edmonton both being 1 point behind and same number of games. At Winnipeg on Tuesday should be another loss.

Shoot standings weren't updated when I looked. Even better!

Just need to get rid of Hayes and Zucc and we can free fall

We need Jarmo to say "f*** it, I'll ride it out with Panarin" and for Stone and/or Duchene to sign in Ottawa.

Duchene being available won't be too bad, but both Panarin and Stone being up for grabs could f*** us over pretty significantly in regards to zucc.

Or it could make the team that missed out on Panarin and Stone even more desperate

Today, I had some time to kill with my flight back to Europe at 10:30 PM, so my friend suggested to go to the Devils game. 3 PM puck drop, why not? So I bought tickets for her and me, and we went to NJ. At the game, I was trying to get a hard ticket for my collection but I had no luck at all. These days, it's easier to get a law degree from Harvard, than to get a hard copy ticket at an NHL game. My friend then approached a guy in a suit who was super friendly. Started talking, and he was immediately offering to help. Turns out it was the owner of the Devils. My friend told him I flew in all the way from Austria. So he responds "let me give you my email address, send me your contact details and I'll take care of it"

I just had a conversation over email with the owner of an NHL franchise

I'm at JFK now to fly home. This weekend has been full of surprises!

PS: it was great meeting you, @SnowblindNYR and @TheKingsCourt

Hot take: Prudential Center is a better hockey experience than MSG. I love the Rangers to death, but seriously... I've been to 2 games at MSG and I just don't get the "hockey vibe" during the game. Although I loved the ceremony on Friday. I was tearing up during the Potsy tribute.
