I'm reading the goal summary of PHI and WPG and it says Jets scored 4 PPGs in the second half of the 2nd period but the penalty summary doesn't indicate an onslaught of penalties or a major.

The fact that things have gotten so bad on the back end that Bruno Gervais has played 34 games this season tells you that Holmgren has some serious issues on defense to address. He did try this past summer with the Weber offer sheet but that didn't work out.

A lot of work to do before you even start to talk about what to do with Bryzgalov.

Was it reported that they were discussing trading for Weber, but wouldn't give up Couturier or Schenn? Weber would do wonders for them, wouldn't he. Instead, Holmgren addresses his defense problems with Luke Schenn.

I know all about this, I think I die a little inside when I read on the trade forum that the Flyers won't move Schenn or Couturier because Holmer didn't offer them up in a Weber trade.
 
The important thing here is for one of the two teams to go pointless tonight. Separation from 9th is the only thing I care about at this point.
 
Leafs penalty kill kills off 3 penalties which included 5-3. They start the second 4-4 for 20 seconds then back to killing 1:40.
 
It's funny how Holmgren somehow thought he could turn Luke Schenn into a good defensman, simply because he is large and was highly sought after.
Schenn is not very mobile or quick, and he never will be.

Devils' goal-less streak is at 131 minutes and 59 seconds. Ponikarovsky scored their last goal 8:01 into 2nd period Monday vs. Isles.
 
Wow Bruins get a PP with 59 seconds left, 6 on 4 and don't get a SOG

Out of those teams I want Caps to make it. Hate Caps but hate the other 3 teams more.
