Some of the comments Gabby made after he was traded about how it was nice that Columbus really wanted him lead me to believe he was unhappy about no longer be "the guy" here. This season was the first time in his career that he was on the same team as another elite scoring threat. Maybe he wanted a little ego-stroking or something.

It's possible, and if that is the case, then he is unlikely to win a cup. His countrymate Hossa went to all different places to be a complimentary star player. Gaborik isn't going to win it all being the only top scorer on his team, especially as he gets older.
