Just came to give props to Ottawa. The White buyout and the retainer on Murray suck, but they have some old buyout cap coming off the books in the next two seasons and the rest thereafter is much more manageable (not over $1M).

OTT is taking some lumps right now to fix some old crappy management. Dorion is doing well, but he needs to maintain a vision cuz they won't be out of the dead cap/buyout woods until the after the 23-24 season.

He really isn't that bad...but his system leaves a lot to be desired. I wouldn't be shocked that the Jets would make the POs as a WC behind Hellebyuck playing well + a conservative, defensive system

that was the season he took over for monty, but credit where credit is due since it was in december

bowness has won about 1/3rd of the nhl games he's coached, so he certainly doesn't exude greatness. jets know him pretty well though, so maybe it isn't much of a risk
