The cap space isn't the point.

In 12 months the Devils basically lost Zach Parise, Ilya Kovalchuk, David Clarkson and the 9th overall pick for Cory Schneider and cap space.

Oh, and no 1st this year too.

And we thought we had problems.
 
They have lost 150 points of production, leadership,skill and grit and replaced it with Ryan Clowe and Cory Schnider

This is not going to be a good season in the debbihood.
 
In case anybody missed it, Bobby Sanguinetti is off to the KHL according to his twitter account & the Hurricanes' website.



He'll always be remembered to us as the guy Bobby Clarke wanted, but instead had to "settle" for Claude Giroux after Maloney/Renney picked him. :facepalm:
 
We have no place on the team for him but damn if I dont have a soft spot for Vinny Prospal. That goal celebration gets me everytime. Sad that Cbus isnt bringing him back.
