Lirl the Isles blowing a 2-0 lead.

Dat up and coming dynasty. How embarrassing.

What a night for the Dallas duo. Still wondering when Steen is gonna cool down.

Steen's production is natrually bound to drop some time, he is not AO 2.0.

But he has -- become -- a very good hockey player. He was one of few NHLers that played in the SHL during the lock-out (they weren't allowd to play unless they signed for the entire season, but his team used a loophole and claimed to use him as an emergency injury back-up). Steen pwned the SHL and many went like "yikes can a mediocre NHLer dominate the SHL this much". The truth is that Steen several times has been overlooked for the Swedish national team etc and I doubt many here even know who he is.

However, the kid has always been a good hockey player (he is the best player born in 84 from Sweden), AND the kid is absolutely fanatic when it comes to taking care of himself off the ice and practising his game. He definitely goes "above and beyond" just about anyone in this league. CARL HAGELIN is another kid like that. Due to stupid CBA rules etc. I definietly feel that this has become a X-FACTOR when looking at prospects and their development. It seems like the vast majority of NHLers kind of are giving around 85-90% off the ice. Some are physical freaks, but do they also pay as much attention to working on stickhandling, shooting and skating away from team lead practises?

After watching TBL's game last night, I see why they really don't want to trade Gudas. He played phenomenal, easily the best d-man on the ice. He saved a for sure goal early in the game, and was very poised.

Also, Filppula has been outstanding for the club. He's doing everything, PKing, playing defense, scoring, faceoffs, shootout goals. His contract might not be horrible after all.

one reason i wanted this guy. one of the most underrated 2 way player in the league. he really was behind a lot of good talent on the wings. he did have 66 pts one year on the Wings. i wont be shocked if he gets nominated for the selke in the future...

The Oilers are a joke. All I heard about was how they were going to turn the corner this year, and now they're pulling the chute and talking about "staying the course". How many 1st overall picks do you need to build a winning team? Players don't even want to go play there because they're such a mess.

Hawks stole Versteeg from Florida. Tallon can't stop trading for the awful draft picks he made in the past.

Found at the main Board, posters there Wonders if he'll get a fine for it..

I laugh at both his action and the posters...

During a face off at the other end of the ice, Lehtonen decided to sit on the top of the net...

Posters at the main Board claims its disrespectfull and then some....

I found it pretty funny..Dallas won the game 7-3..

for some reason, I don't think that's a current picture.

I don't have a problem with him sitting on top of the net, but if he knocked it over it should 100% be delay of game.

I seriously can't understand why people get their panties in a bunch like that.

Makes me think about Usain Bolt putting on a little show when winning in the Olympics, and some butthurt people came along whining about how disrespectful it was and how it was dishonoring the olympic spirit or some similar pretencious BS. There are more examples but they escape me at the moment.

If someone's acting like a complete ********* that's one thing, but let people have some fun. God forbid having humor...

"@GeorgeRichards: FLA trades Kris Versteeg/Phillipe Lefebvre for Jimmy Hayes/Dylan Olsen from CHI."/FLA retains half of Versteeg $.
