Because he likes to shove people around, but if actual brawl breaks out, he runs away and lets others do his dirty work

Shove people around? if you have been watching, hes been manhandled all game (by Ott, specifically) and hasnt been getting any calls. In a scrum Ott had his head pushed toward the ice and his teammates came to his rescue (protecting the star player)....no different from Crosby getting protection, etc...

Tavares also took four or five swipes and punches at Foligno during the second period that went uncalled.

It's been chippy both ways.

buffalo wins in the shootout vs Islanders.. their 1st win of the year ..

absolute garbage from Lapierre. And good ****ing riddance on Kaleta. Should be suspended for life, sack of ****.

Spezza hat trick Senators lead Coyotes 3-2 with 11 mins to go in the 3rd.

Lol I can only imagine if that happened to a ranger. No one would have done anything And half the posters here would be arguing for the players saying " they didn't see the hit" or " we got a power play why mess that up "

Lol I guess small things like that is the reason why they are undefeated And not 1-4 with their star player knocked out with a concussion

Exactly, this team is softer than a baby's bottom!

Can't believe the flyers are 1-6 lol

They aren't that good of a team, so it's not that hard to believe IMO.

Plus Giroux, Simmonds, Read, Couturier, and Voracek have a combined zero goals. You aren't going to win like that.

I said it before and got torched, but Giroux is the most overrated player in the east.

And you should get torched again and again for saying that. First time posting in a few months, but just had to chime in and re-iterate what a ridiculous comment that was.

Calling a player "overrated" doesn't mean he's bad. I'd take G on this team in a heartbeat. But he's not a generational talent like everybody pimps him out to be. He's just a good PPG center. Not on the tiers of Stammer, Malkin, Crosby, etc.

Can't say that. These things don't happen in a Vacuum.

Of course there are no guarantees but the biggest reason that we lost to the Devils was that we ran out of gas from being stuck in drawn out low scoring series with the Sens and Caps. Giroux's offense might have helped us get through those series more easily.
