can the speed of young Edmonton finally produce a regulation loss for Chicago?

I will be watching the 2nd and 3rd periods.

Hall's out (suspension), and they're banged up in their bottom 6, but it should be a fun game regardless. Edmonton does a pretty good job of hanging in there against good teams and makes it exciting at the end. These are the two teams I like watching most in the West and are rooting for to some degree.

Kane scores a beauty backhand PP goal on the shortside while skating cross-crease just after the Oilers scored a shorty.

He's really good there on the PP. Gagner is excellent as a PP QB. Almost every Oilers PP goal I've seen 'live' this year had Gagner making a strong play in there somewhere.

I've said this before but the oilers are fun to watch. Mistakes galore by the young guns, but they are entertaining.

Justin Schultz is the real deal, Hall is great to watch when he's on the rush, their PP is very exciting. Definitely my favorite non-Sabres team to watch and part of that is due to the fact they're fairly scrappy (not necessarily physically, but mentally... they do have some physical guys in their bottom 6 and defense though) and are more or less underdogs, yet play an exciting brand of hockey.

Definitely a goal by Chicago here, no question

Seems like a decent fit. Lindy with a GOOD team is generally successful.

And he already knows how to coach the Sharks powerplay -- "Just give it to Joe" was how he described it in one post-game presser. About the same level of thought as the Sabres PP...

Habs just got Michael Ryder for Erik Cole. Wow Habs are so much better after this trade! Ryder scored 35 goals last year and Cole is going down hill this year. They get to dump Coles contract as well, and Ryder is UFA after this year.
