Greg Wyshynski @wyshynski
Zach Redmond. RT @ice_chip Ambulance apparently being called. Scary moment for Jets. Claude Noel out on ice with Redmond.
Redmond got his leg cut .. ambulance arrived to take him off the ice .. per Chip Alexander.Wonder what happened?
I always liked Vokoun...felt bad for him to be stuck on Nashville (while they were usually pretty bad) and Florida...
On a better team he'd probably get the recognition he deserved.
He's a top 10 goalie of his era, IMO
Yeesh, that Redmond injury was definitely scary if he lacerated his femoral artery .. lucky guy.James Mirtle @mirtle
Jets defenceman Zach Redmond underwent surgery for three hours today to repair a laceration to his femoral artery and vein. Horrific injury.

Ya gotta feel bad for Ottawa. Their best 3 players are all out injured.
Still better than us though
NHL.com has "Cull Me Maybe" as a headline.
Don't know if that's the best choice..
According to Friedman, Karlsson is implying Cooke knew what he was doing and that it wasn't an accident. I'm right there with him.
I do not think he did it on purpose. He tried enough to push me hard and knock me. I still think it was a situation that could have been prevented,
DiPietro to be put on waivers.
What a sad story.
That's not really what he said

Especially for Islers fans. But yea, in all seriousness it's a real shame for DiPietro himself. He had a bright career ahead of him. I thought the guy was a bit of a tool if I remember correctly (hell, he's been out of sight out of mind for so long now), but that doesn't make it any less a shame. There was a time when he was the apparent future of Team USA goaltending, seems like decades ago.
Gaustad a healthy scratch for Nashville tonight. Coach's decision.
My god, I love hockey but the "systems" and "coaching" in the NHL are hell bent on killing the game. Everybody who paid to watch this Canucks/Preds game should get their money back.
