IIHF Worlds 2019 without Blues players looks boring :sarcasm:

Did Lindbohm really decline that much? I felt like he should have played more when him and Eddy were battling it out. Wish he would have continued to develop because I liked his skating and physicality.

I remember in 2016 when Gunnarson went out and Lindbolm came in. He looked great, I was honestly surprised he hasn't played much at all since.

Yeah, it just seemed like Hitch never gave him a real shot. He wasn't afraid to pinch in the O-Zone and shot almost any time he could. He was great when paired with Petro.

I think Tippett is a good hire by Edmonton. A lot better choice than Hitchcock. I was surprised to see him choose coaching again. I thought he would take a hockey operations job with Seattle.

I don’t like the hire much. To me he’s still a dinosaur coach that preaches a defensive system and I don’t love that fit when your system should be built around what McDavid can do.

Either way, it really doesn’t matter what coach they have until they actually infuse more talent into their roster. And I find Holland to be pretty overrated himself so I question how quickly that can happen.

We’ll see. At least things are never boring there in Edmonton.

Sharks hired Bob Boughner, I heard he was a PP specialist so I was hoping we'd bring him in as an assistant for next season to replace the still open Berube spot.
