I've tuned into a couple of Wild games under Hynes (shocking to see him again as a coach) and the Oilers, with their new coaching changes.
One thing about the Wild - They play with pace and are quick with their decisions, something they were slowly moving away from with Evason, weird but to see Hynes preach that with the current roster, that team is deadly off the rush, quick out of their zone, goalies are not being hung out to dry and the team looks like a full on unit each shift. Must be nice.
Oilers - That team is looking deadly, the issues we joked about them seems to be minimized by the way they attack, the lines being rolled, the utilization of the roster looks to be good right now, they are not like the wild to me, the team looks like they are bound for a losing streak, vs the Wild who are solidly built and should be better, the Oilers are the opposite, insanely top heavy with very little of substance for most of the roster with some good pieces, but awful goaltending for reliability, I think that will break first for them given their lack of defensive depth.
But to see 2 teams greatly benefit from coaching changes when the Penguins have a massive history of success with it and not doing it really really sucks.
