He does. The money shoulda went towards goaltending most likely.
They had the 5th best offense in the league last year. Idk why they went all-in for Meier after getting 112 points.

Who could they have realistically gotten though? I feel like Buffalo could be like NJ if they performed up to expectations, offense wise

Regarding Perry - I think what's being left out a lot is the "Corporate Sponsors" part.

If you're a team that hid and lied about sexual assaults and a player gets hammered and maybe makes a comment about it to sponsors, that would make a shitty franchise try to get you off the team. I'd bet it was something to do with that.

I just want Perry to sue the Hawks. f*** the Hawks.

I have considered that as well after hearing more stories from several different people about the event at which the "incident" occurred. The alleged offence was with Perry and some entity that was a staff employee and/or someone with a financial interest in the organization or perhaps multiple individuals were involved.

I think he has a case for a grievance to reclaim any money owed to him in the contract it was terminated. There is certainly a precedent with many players in the past who have successfully grieved and got money that they would have been owed otherwise.

I hope he collects every penny he can from the Blackhawks org and then signs with the Penguins.

Dallas stomping Tampa 6-1. I wonder if Tampa misses the playoffs this year. Detroit seems competitive enough that it's a possibility if they don't get their shit together.

Figured as much.

Hawks in this instance, to me, gave more of a shit about sponsor money vs a players well being.

Sounds familiar with that franchise. I hope Perry grieves it.

This Hughes Brothers game is f***in' fun, man.

Meier is on pace for 60pts with the Devils and currently sits at a -15 on the year. Yeesh.

There was finally some clarity on John Klingberg's status as Maple Leafs GM Brad Treliving announced that the defenceman will have hip surgery at the end of the month, and will be shut down for the season.
