I sure do hope this Corey Perry situation and surrounding rumors don't do anything that may sully the otherwise pristine reputation of Original Six Franchise Chicago Blackhawks.
I find it dumber that blokes are assuming Perry would cheat. That sort of shit is just, really? Grown ass men acting like dumb f***s about gossip like this shit.

I mean first off given what Perry's wife looks like and that you can only read about how happy they are and how long they've been together and then see what Bedard's mom looks like, unless Perry lost all of his vision and logic, I don't buy that shit.

If there was a rumor trail I'd believe it'd be that Perry likely made a comment about the assault and the current law suit and the team got mad because they want to keep ignoring it even though it will never go away. That I could believe. For the Teams Perry has played for, never once heard about issues for his time in Anaheim, Tampa, Dallas, or Montreal.

Now that he's free from being under contract to the Hawks, I hope he speaks up about why if only to show why the Hawks are still a shitty franchise.

What's that phrase: show me a hot girl and I'll show you a dude that's tired of banging her?

Anthony Beauvillier's career has been going downhill since he got tired of Anna Kendrick. I'm sure he's looking forward to playing in the armpit that is the Chicago Blackhawks organization. I always thought he was pretty decent when he was playing on the island.

Fun fact I just learned about Evason. Evason has been great over his coaching career at making the playoffs, he has made the playoffs in 14 of 16 seasons he has coached between the WHL, AHL and NHL. He lost in the 1st round in 13 of those 14 playoff appearances

He has a career record of 19-51 in the playoffs, yikes. 10-24 in juniors, 1-12 in the AHL and 8-15 in the NHL.

AB was with Anna Kendrick!?

Make the playoffs but lose in the first round? What is he trying to be, Mike Sullivan?

Not sold at all on Washington. Easiest schedule in the league so far too.

They are a bubble team, I don't think anyone takes that team seriously given Backstrom is essentially done and not having your #1C for more than half a season for about 3-4yrs now shows how bad they are without him.

I will say I do admire that they have a new coach that tries a bunch of things and they're using a lot of youth and others, meanwhile the Pens keep getting older across 3 GM's because the Coach is the one that prefers it.

And I mean what's an easy schedule then mate?

They're what, 11-6? Pens are 10-10.

Easy Teams Pens lost to - Blackhawks, Red Wings, Blues, Senators, Ducks, Sabres, Preds....I mean the Devils should have been a cake walk too given they were without 3 big names on that roster and yet here we are.

Also now that it's not a rumor - How bad do the Hawks look terminating Perry for his drinking? I mean I feel like the incident might be the biggest thing here if the NHLPA & Perry grieve this, as he can enter the Substance Abuse Program (probably not a good place to be either), which might be a whole issue on its own, if he has struggles with Alcohol and it finally came to a head, for a Union it's...

1. Why was he not offered help?
2. The incident in question, if Alcohol related, ties into #1 again.

Perry should definitely go after the Hawks, f*** them as a franchise and their culture. Also this really depends on how bad that incident was, unless all it ever ended up being was he hung out with one of the equipment blokes and got smashed together and got in trouble for it.

I feel like Billy G was the player Sully wanted to be when he played
Sully wasn't even half as good as Billy G during his worst year. He's a bloke that never scored more than 9 goals in a season and topped 20+ once (21pts) in his 11yr career. Billy at 39 was better than Sullivan at any age.

He's been the Penguins coach for 9 seasons now, ugh...in those 9, the 2 cups that he won in duo with Tocchet, then after that he had 1 second round exit, swept in the 1st round, then 1 that was a play in exit that is essentially lower than a 1st round exit, then 2 first round exits and then misses the playoffs entirely.

This year the team is barely keeping at .500, losing to teams that are far worse and somehow this f***ing tosser is iron clad and zero heat for any of the shit.

The wild card/east looks super competitive. NHL getting towards NFL level of parity.

Yep, that’s why the Pens odds don’t look good unless we can string together a bunch of wins in a row

Devils announce Dougie Hamilton is out indefinitely with a torn pectoral muscle. Tomas Nosek re-aggravated the injury to his right foot, underwent surgery, and is also out indefinitely.

Totally called NJ having growing pains on D this year. They may not have been high on Graves and Severson but replacing them with rookies and being a Lindy Ruff team was always gonna be risky
