Imho Hyman would make a better Captain than McD. Guerin was so influential on Sid from a leadership standpoint. I remember hearing something like Sid had a lot of pressure taken off by the addition of Guerin. And learned a lot from him
I feel like McDavid has missed that kind of presence in his early development when he came into the league

Keep saying it but would love that guy here. Maybe he will not live up to the contract in a couple years maybe he will who knows. But our top 6 would be unstoppable...up to the bottom 6, D and goaltending at that point.

From what I'm hearing about how he was super influential on the Connor Brown signing, the Nurse signing and now this? Man are we lucky to have Sid. He never pulled bullshit like that as far as we know. The team let Fleury go in the draft and everything

Coffey was the assistant for the new HC in the AHL. I called him McJunior because he was McDavids coach in juniors.Where are you seeing that?
