The Kraken's GWG against the Avs gave me painful flashbacks of the Penguins allowing this exact type of dumb goal way too many times. Two players go chase a guy behind the net leaving someone else wide open right in front of the crease. This time the goalie saved it but not the rebound. This was with only 30 seconds left in the game.

I was bouncing all around the Canadian media on YouTube last night so I can’t remember who it was I think Johnston… Was talking about Holland is feeling the heat from ownership that everything is up for grabs. Picks. Prospects. Roster players. Everything. Just fix this.
They are going to trade away a significant part of their sustainable future to try and right the ship and probably put together a respectable season but miss the playoffs as well as f*** themselves down the road.
Not gonna lie. I hate being that American hockey fan. But I do rattle my fingers in agent of chaos joy when a Canadian franchise is absolutely just devouring itself. God help me but I do love it so.

I think it's funny that a ton of Leafs fans finally got their "toughness" in Reaves but forgot that enforcers are basically useless. He's -11, zero points and chirped a whole bunch from the bench when Marchand injured his teammate. Three year contract... smooth move Dub... errrrr... Treliving!

This is just a side lane topic to what you are talking about. But I have a feeling in a few years there is going to be another Tom Wilson mixed with Trouba type that’s going to be a unicorn in draft. Big, skilled, fast, and just cave someone’s face in punching. The league always goes in high and low tides of change. The Kings started a trend toward size with their wins, then we started a trend toward speed. There’s going to be some dude that comes through the draft that’s all of it here in a few years I can just feel it. He may not be super Star skilled but skilled along with just an absolute bruiser. I think that will be the return of the “enforcer” and then every team will start looking for that type. Just a hunch and I could be completely wrong but that’s just a hunch I have.
