Only if Hellebuyck played like Shesterkin did this season.
That's where a good coach comes in.
Shesterkin started 52 games while Hellebuyck started 66 games ... see the difference?
Also the Rangers don't let opposing players stand in front of their goalie ... again a good coach could take care of that.

I don't think they're being coached to let players stand there, and I don't think Hellebuyck would've matched Shesterkin if he played 14 fewer games. Georgiev is better than Comrie and Shesterkin missed a bit of time with injury this season.

At this point, I want the head coach interview to be exactly three questions:

1. what is the optimal percentage of starts to play your starting goalie?
2. when should you pull the goalie when down by one goal?
3. how likely do you need to succeed to justify challenging a called goal on the ice?

Basically, I say these three questions because "did you learn how to coach before or after the Vietnam War ended?" might be ambiguous.

Are you sure Georgiev is better than Comrie... not sure the stats agree

History would agree he is. I'm not going to suggest Comrie is better because of a decent season where he started 16 games against mostly weaker competition.

Eye test says Team played better defence in front of Comrie as well.

Team gets hellelazy defensively in front of the other goalie.

the bos/car didn't look like it was going to be much of a series after the first 2 games but now evened up at 2-2

What makes you think Georgiev is better than Comrie?
Georgiev - .898
Comrie - .920
That's a big difference in favour of Comrie.

Geo was highly touted a few years ago, but his performance deteriorates each year.

Watching the Wild vs Blues. Used to hate watching MIN play, mostly because Boudreau's system is like watching paint dry for me and also because I didnt care for some of their players. But right now they are fun to watch and I like that they have heavy toughness like Greenway, Foligno, and D-Lo that can keep an opponent on their heals and honest. Also really like Fleury so hard not to like who he plays for.
