RNH can definitely be a core piece to build around, more so than Schmaltz, but he can never be THE core piece.

RNH is a tweener center, not a 1st but could hold the place for a bit. Schmaltz is not a center.

Yes, I've seen a few of the qualifier games where those teams don't look very good, either. Coyotes aren't competitive with any of those round-robin teams, though, and that's who they'd play if they escape this series.
