they've had a pretty soft schedule as of late. I understand that they have a few wins over some great teams, but over the last few weeks it's been mid and below: NSH 2x, ANH 2x, CHI, PIT, and couple mid teams in MTL and VAN, the schedule really softened for them to facilitate a win streak.Blues are looking scary...
And if they're playing above their heads to make the playoffs, they could really have a sag if they do - it's looking like it might come down to game 82.they've had a pretty soft schedule as of late. There was a thread on the main boards about if the Blue Jackets or the Habs could pass the Devils. I fairly confidently said that they wouldn't, not because the Devils are good, but because they had a sizable lead, and the Habs and Blue Jackets are bad. It's nigh on impossible for bad teams to close large point gaps in the last 15-ish games in the season, because there is a reason they are on the outside looking in.The race for that last wildcard spot in the East is a humdinger

10ish days later, after 4 or so games, with the Devils in complete free fall, the Habs have closed the gap from 7 points to... 6 points. Cause the Habs are bad. The Blue Jackets are still 8 points behind, because the Blue Jackets are bad.
It is really hard for me to support h the OilersCome on Oilers. Get a win in regulation.
We are 8 points up on Dallas (sure, probably 6 after tonight). Why do we need help? Not going to get any help from the shorthanded Oilers tonight, even with McDavid and Draisaitl if you got a shit goalie you are in trouble
Dallas will be 6-2-2 in their last 10. What indicates they will win or OTL their remaining games? Jets are 7-3 in the last 10, same number of points. So why be concerned?Seems like Dallas is going to win or OTL’s from here on out. Jets can’t get complacent while finishing off this historic season.
