Lot of solid games today, Oilers at Stars, Vegas at Florida, Rangers at Leafs. Bruins at Utah and Calgary in Seattle later to see if Calgary is for real (I do not believe it). Seattle I am telling you guys, Eberle is rejuvenated and their attack is versatile and strong. They are a 'score in bunches' team. Bet the overs with Seattle because their defending and goaltending is average.

let them waste resources trying to patch job it. they arnt going anywhere this year even if they had patrick roy in net. one trick pony aka one line team.

I don't know how many times on the now 0-5 Predators home broadcast they used the term "self-inflicted" but I was satisfied with it
It’s glorious seeing Nashville suck and I hope it continues.
I won’t be surprised at all if they end up as this season’s disappointment. That unsustainable 16-0-2 run they went on last year did a ton of heavy lifting into making people think they’re better than they are.

Nashville’s offseason got so much hype from pundits, but it never sat right with me. Not surprising that they’re struggling early. Maybe they turn it around but I could just as easily see an injury or two put them into lottery territory.

I kind of get 2019 Blues vibes from them. New pieces, nothing working early on, but I think once it clicks, it's REALLY going to click. They just have to hope they're not too far out of it by that point.

Hard to imagine a team with Josi, ROR, Forsberg, Stamkos, Saros, etc being in the lottery but they're definitely the biggest underachievers so far.

The Preds are still struggling to generate offense 5v5 and Saros has been bad. Stay out of the box against Nashville and you have a pretty good chance of beating them.

what is going on with David Jiricek, another top 10 defenseman being mishandled by his org ... ? You know ... Jiricek for Jiricek+ might not be the worst trade in the world ... it would certainly be a landmark trade people would reference for years especially if one or both turn out really well

I think he's an interesting one to follow this season. There were some rumors last season and now with new management, they might be more willing to cut bait if they don't like him. Doesn't mean we match up with them on needs or not, but I could really get behind a future d-core of Broberg, Jiricek, Jiricek, and Lindstein.

The current slobbering love affair for the Refalanche is more disgusting than the 90s Redwing slopfest. Crappy one line team that has to have the refs hold their hands to do anything meaningful.

Really tough to know how good he is going to be. I'm guessing if Columbus had full confidence in him, he would have gotten more opportunities by now. Then again as we've seen with Broberg, some guys need more time to become legit NHL players. Doesn't make sense that Columbus would risk alienating their top young D prospect unless they had a good reason.
I'm interested but cautiously interested.

And yet the Sharks had 5 PP to the Avs 4. It was 4 to 4 when Stelmacki posted as well, so don't make up some BS about refs evening it out late in the game.
Thing about conspiracy theories, they don't hold up to facts but people will still spout them.
