Quinn Hughes took a massive leap this off-season - if he keep this level of play up he's a finalist for the Norris no doubt.
Kostin hasn't recorded a point this season, he's -2, and doesn't really do anything more than what our 4th liners do except apparently get into a scrap once a season for twice the price of Sammy Blais.
If you offered me Klim Kostin on waivers right now I wouldn't want to waste a roster spot on him.
What am I missing?
Edmonton couldn’t keep him though because his salary demands got too ridiculous. He’s making 2 million on the 4th line, which he’s not worth so we wouldn’t be able to afford that.Edmonton fans wanted to keep him and the Wings fans love him.
He's currently contributing lower rates of shots, hits, and scoring chances than his time in Edmonton and here, and that's despite a huge increase in how much sheltering he's receiving. Sure it's a small sample size, but he's trending backwards while receiving a nearly 3x pay raise.Edmonton fans wanted to keep him and the Wings fans love him.
Knew my bb still had it. I think Berube might be losing his touch.Damn….ROR still got it huh
So good he scored twice on one play today.Damn….ROR still got it huh
If they give up 10 against Philly on Tuesday, they’ll be the first team since 1920 to give up double digit goals against in three consecutive games. And the Sharks give up 10 goals for the 2nd game in a row.
We are witnessing one of the worst teams of all time. And I f***ing love it.
At the same time that has kept them just average for years now.The Wild are absolutely stinking it up this season.
And I’m glad. The league is better when they just flat out suck, instead of wasting everyone’s time by making the playoffs and losing in the 1st round every season.
Give them Celebrini (sp?), that should fix everything
I think it's a big disservice to the league when teams like Arizona and Ottawa have to forfeit picks for legitimate wrong doings but Chicago gets a slap on the wrist as if their wrong doing is any less than what those teams did. Apparently the price for gaining a competitive advantage against the league is a 1st round pick but the cost of intentionally covering up multiple sexual assaults is 2 million? As far as I'm concerned they're all competitive advantages and Quenneville even said as much.Oh, and let's give them Ottawa's first round pick! It's not like Ottawa's using it.
Swear to f***ing fate, I hate them for getting Bedard almost as much as I hate the MLB gifting the Houston Asterisks the Cardinals' entire 2017 Draft. Almost. But if they get gifted a #1 overall pick this year? I will quit watching the NHL because I will know that the league is just as scripted as the WWE.

This should be interesting.
Nhl won't do anything "we already made a verdict during the first lawsuit, we won't do anything further on the matter"Blackhawks sued (again) by teammate of Kyle Beach for sexual assault
I'm sure the league will take this just as seriously as a missed no-trade clause.forums.hfboards.com
it's just a lot of compartmentalization from hawk fans to minimize the situation as much as possibleNational Hockey League Talk
