Holy sellers market.
I was told we were buyers now...This is my Botts moment. Make or break. If Coleman can fetch that we better clean up on Sheary, Vesey and Miller...if not then I'll join the anti-Botts wagon full steam. What an atrocious trade for Tampa.
I wonder if him being signed for so cheap next season played a part in what seems like a very steep price.
Tampa has some cap juggling to do this summer.

Coleman is a much better player than any of those forwards. Don’t expect Botts to get much(if any) for Sheary/Vesey/etc.
This was a very interesting interview.
I'll buy that reasoning, mostly because i do not have a horse in that race. It's unclear what exaclty about Marcel Aubut turned Lindros off from the franchise. Does someone else know?
Edit - i should add that a google search didn't yield much information, other than Aubut being involved in a sexual assault accusation in 2015.
But Aubut wanted to say something on the record. He said Eric Lindros never wanted to go to Philadelphia. Never!
"He implored us not to go to Philadelphia," Aubut said. "He said, 'I don't want to be with losers.' Many times, especially at the end."
So why did Lindros accept Philadelphia, and why does he seem so happy now? After the game, Lindros was asked about Aubut's comments. He first made a face, the kind of expression a man might make if there was a strange or unpleasant odor in the room.
"Marcel is in his own little world," Lindros said, "and I really have nothing positive to say about it."
Thanks for the context. Absolutely makes sense.Given how Aubut acted, I'm not surprised.

It was also pretty well known that he was going to have to sell or relocate the team soon and the Lindros family obviously didn't trust what Aubut told them about the future of the club.
This is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen.
