So glad he included everybody who is on the list. Not like it’s a subtle dig at Buffalo or anything.
So many reasons not to go to BUF that are hockey-related. I think as fans who hate the team right now, we shouldn't take it personally. If they ever start to win, players will want to come here. I would actually question a player's motivation that waived a no-trade to come here at this point.

Uncle Leo was doing Uncle Leo things all last night. Injuring stars, trying to start fights, scored a fluke goal. Probably his game of the year.

I hope Eichel finds more playoff success in his career than Hawerchuk did. Dale has the way better tribute song.

Both WPG and COL both looking like dance partners right now for a D. For one, a long-term fix that can help out this years run would be a cherry on top.

Sounds like wishful thinking to me.

Seriously - look how often these type of trade happen at the TDL as opposed to the offseason.

That Islanders checking line is good. They embarrassed Washington's first last night. Wilson did come about 2 inches away from murdering Komarov at center ice.

Which checking line? Oh wait, they're both good.

Just wait until July 2 when half the board is trying to talk themselves into Galchenyuk at 2x$3.75.

I like Zucker, but that's a bit steep for my liking. 1st, decent project and a body. I mean I guess we could have made that type of trade, but with the way this team is trending...I just don't think it would have made sense. The Penguins have been on him since the tail end of last year. It's an upgrade for sure. Is it worth a 1st, a decent puck moving defensive prospect and Galchenyuk, possibly.

Probably. But with how they shuffle players around? Who knows.
If they did want him, I'd guess we get a pick next year. Without their first and 2nd upcoming they probably dont want to lose even a 4th. But if deferring to next year gets us a round higher pick I'd be fine with that

We're on everyones no trade list. Am I the only one that thinks that there should be no such thing? We can't attract free agents because we're not a big city and we can't trade for half the players in the league because our team sucks which in turn continues to make us suck. Can't get better through anything other than drafting atm, might as well relegate us to the AHL.

The Sabres could do a lot if they had cap space. That's no ones fault but their own.

But this is not true. Botterill signed MoJo, Lazar. There is always an trade option, many who do not have NTC. Why Erik Haula not play in Buffalo? Because Botts apparently thought it was better to trade for another RD than for a guy who would be our 2/3 center. At the same time, even players with NTC can sometimes come to Buffalo, the same Skinner, but he is probably not the only one in the league who wants to play near his home. Of course, luring a player in Buffalo is more difficult than in any contender or California, but this does not mean that it is impossible. Winnipeg, in general, seems to be the worst option in the league, but there is a good team there.

I'm kind of glad there's such a thing. Who would want a bunch of Bogosians and ERods who play half hearted because they don't want to be here to begin with? They would just go through the motions to get through the contact and leave

Carolina could have its first in play for a defenseman with term. Columbus has a need with Jones surgery. The Jets have been shorthanded on the blueline all season.

So the conversation from about 10 days ago by the CHP that there is a glut of available defensemen is now followed up with conversation that there is a shortage. And that's not by any one being traded - in point of fact, the Jones injury seems to have added to the teams looking for help. Do they just use a roulette wheel to come up with conversations?

Jay Bouwmeester collapsed on the bench during the Blues game and some reports they had to use a defibrillator on him. Not going to post it but it’s all over Twitter
