Duchene is an insane talent. Ottawa just got a lot better.

That's a whole lot of potential for Duchene. Nothing really in the way of proven pieces though. Hopefully some of these guys hit or it'll be a rough situation for Colorado.

I do like Girard a lot though.

Turris re-ups in Nashville. They solved their biggest hole and managed to keep their roster in tact. Nicely done.

Yeah I don't hate what Nashville did at all. Kept their roster intact that they still have that 1st to dangle should they need to add another piece in a few months.

Ottawa on the other hand went HAM for no reason. Duchene is not that good.

From the rumors, Turris wasn’t willing to sign in Ottawa for $6m per.

It’s a false to assume that Turris signing for a certain amount in one place means that he was willing to sign for the same amount in another.
