I am increasingly pleased each time I see Jake Middleton on the ice for the Wild. I don't remember him prior to this season.

The first time I saw that 'stache it took me back about 40 years. Although there were a lot of those back in the day, the first name with one that popped in my head was Dave Babych....which seems a bit odd to me. I better go fact check my memory of Dave Babych.

Buffalo could have had Veggie and Chychrun but K.Adams wants to collect more draft pokemon he doesn't even have room for.

I really think they could have snuck into the playoffs and made some noise with those 2.

We know how good he is. Well, except for cobra. Anyways, the Sens will get some wins and they'll get some losses. The pick will be in the teens. If the Sens really catch fire and the pick ends up later than expected, then we get an extra 1st.

Ottawa was on a pretty good run before Chychrun so might be a little more than Chychrun why they might make it. He helps but he's not "the" reason.

Extra 1st only if they make the finals.

2nd next year turns into Top 10 protected 1st in 24 or unconditional 1st in 25 if Sens make Conference Final.

From Sportsnet:

"The conditional first-round pick acquired from Ottawa is top-five protected and would become an unprotected first-rounder in 2024. If the Senators reach the Eastern Conference final this spring, the conditional second-round selection next year becomes a top-10-protected first, which would then move to 2025 with no protection."

Exactly. Nothing changes unless they make the conference finals this year or win the lottery this spring and move into the top five '23.

I doubt anyone thinks Conference Final when you just say Final?? I wasn't nitpicking, simply providing correct info.

Everyone here knows that about you. You can't control yourself with it. If I were to say the shortest distance between two points is a line, you'd chime in and say "actually, a curved line can be much longer so the correct answer is a straight line."
That's who you are and we know you don't care because you keep doing it.
