Around The NHL #13

Tampa did Goodrow, Coleman, Hagel, and now Jeannot.
And it’s worked every time thus far

Hawks-Rangers looking for 3rd team to broker Kane deal. 25% retention on Kane equates to $250k in actual dollars. Isn’t that something BA should be all over?
And there we go…..the most Coyote of Coyote deals!

14 total picks across the top 3 rounds in ‘24 and ‘25

My bad...when I heard Brassard was playing career game 1000 against his old team, I knew he'd score and get Ottawa a win. I failed to get here sooner.

Brassard will likely score a few (if not a hat trick) or get some assists to hurt the tank....

Oh well I guess Senators going to win tonight....

Breaking jinxes since 2023...

Buccigross has dropped a hint on social media that the NHL is headed back to Atlanta (Alpharetta)

This will be fun.

In the French speaking regions especially.
It is really odd why Gary won't give them a sniff though?? Guess it's only ticket revenue and no market growth? I suspect Toronto has a better chance at team 2 than Quebec does at getting one unless it's a quick relocation,

The wildcard battle in the East is really tight. 6-7 teams fighting for two spots. It won't be easy for Ottawa.

I don't know if they will make playoffs but that Ottawa team is fun to watch and have been for most of this season.

I watched a bit of the game yesterday and I agree. I also watched a bit of the Oiler/ Jets game.

I'd put money on the Sens getting in, regardless of the remaining schedule. Chychrun is going to put up a ton of points if he can stay healthy and this acquisition has energized that team.

Brady Tkachuk is turning into a star and Stuzzle is already one. That core is gonna be good for the next decade.

They want a team on the cheap. At least PKP does.

Friedman had a nugget in one of his 32 blogs where the Renaissance Group who looked into a 2nd Toronto area expansion team had previously looked at buying the Coyotes but they backed out because of a lack of real estate possibilities nearby.
