I'm guessing you might have a black and white Sony Watchman....you could get someone to hold it up in the corner of your screen?Sounds high-tech. I don't think I get that over my rabbit ears.

Season only has a few weeks left anyways. Might as well shut him down and try again next year.No one should be surprised. BA was probably banking on it lol.
Edit: And I'll believe "a few weeks" when I see it.
Oh yeah, that is true. So we may never know the extent unless it carries into next season. Again.Season only has a few weeks left anyways. Might as well shut him down and try again next year.
Hilarious that people in here are saying that working out hard is why he is getting injured. Working out will actually prevent injuries for the majority of people, especially as you age.
Today's athlete is leaner and stronger than any in past.......and injured more often. We aren't talking about 40 year old Dads exercising and it helping them stay injury free.Hilarious that people in here are saying that working out hard is why he is getting injured. You think he doesn't have professional gym trainers not telling him this? I don't think working out has anything to do with why he is getting injured.Absolutely hysterical!
"When you work out, your muscles, tendons, and ligaments become stronger. But if you exercise too much, these tissues can become overloaded, and you may end up with an injury."
"An overuse injury is any type of muscle or joint injury, such as tendinitis or a stress fracture, that's caused by repetitive trauma. An overuse injury typically stems from:
- Training errors. Training errors can occur when you take on too much physical activity too quickly. Going too fast, exercising for too long or simply doing too much of one type of activity can strain your muscles and lead to an overuse injury."

I am guessing somebody is. I don't think it is working out that is causing these injuries.Lifting will give you repetitive use injuries out the ass if you don't carefully watch your total load, form, and recovery. At the level he is doing it and for how long he has been doing it on top of hockey, it's not surprising. Someone needs to tell him maintenance volume only needs to be a fraction of what you did to gain.
You gotta study showing that todays athletes are injured more often than in the past, or are you talking out of your ass?Today's athlete is leaner and stronger than any in past.......and injured more often. We aren't talking about 40 year old Dads exercising and it helping them stay injury free.
If you want to believe a bodybuilding magazine over one of the highest regarded medical institutions, you go right ahead. FYI, this article contradicts the importance of rest and recovery in a work out routine. You think he doesn't have professional gym trainers not telling him this? I don't think working out has anything to do with why he is getting injured.
Also you posted a link, so I'll argue your point with a link. There is a chance that he is overtraining, but I highly doubt it is from weightlifting.

A bodybuilding magazine he says haha. Another nerd who probably hasn't worked out hard in his life trying to say that you can overtrain...Your body can recover fast and it is very hard to overtrain muscles as long as you're eating, taking proper breaks between sets, and sleeping right. Here is another article with sport scientist quotes with references. If you want to believe a bodybuilding magazine over one of the highest regarded medical institutions, you go right ahead.
Welp, you just lost your argument the moment you showed you got nothing by throwing insults based on assumptions. I'm confident that same publisher has articles on the importance of rest and recovery in a workout routine.A bodybuilding magazine he says haha. The Myth of Overtraining -
Q: I’ve heard you say that “overtraining” is nonsense and virtually impossible to achieve. Should I be worried about overtraining? Do you have science to support your stance? A: Everyone is familiar with “overtraining syndrome,” which is a real problem with negative side effects, but the truth...www.ironmanmagazine.com
Well from your posts that is the assumption I get. Chychryn's weight training has nothing to do with his injuries. His diet maybe or even genetics could be to blame. There are plenty of jacked football players who train harder than Chych and do not get injured. Are they overtraining as well?Welp, you just lost your argument the moment you showed you got nothing by throwing insults based on assumptions haha!
No one ever suggested that it was the only problem, know-it-all. That was just another one of your bright assumptions too.Well from your posts that is the assumption I get.
