I was thinking Bjugstad and Ghost back could really carry us over. But if Durzi is good enough, don't need Ghost. Still think Bjugstad on a 3 year deal would be a perfect/versatile transition player to fill in spots while the young kids filter in. Can go back to 2C this year. Maybe play wing/ injury fill in C in the following years.

I don't think Doan probably had a lot to do with that signing. The Leafs have 4 assistant GMs and Doan is only Special Advisor to the GM.
