Around The NHL #13

Watching any other team get the no. 1 hurts. I think we are due more than any other team that's in the rununing, even Columbus. Our team is 4 years older and we've never picked higher than 3. They've had a 1st OA and a 2nd OA in the past, I believe.

What do you mean you think? It's blatantly obvious as you pointed out.

I can deal with any team below the Coyotes winning the Bedard lottery.....if it's Buffalo (so they can replicate the Oilers wasting of McDavid and gross haul of high picks Coyote fans can only dream of) I will probably find a ledge a few feet from the ground to sit on.

I picked Ottawa to beat Toronto tomorrow. That should help move us from 13th to 12th.
You did better than I did....congratulations!

I went with the Canadiens over the Redwings this time. I can't lose...or is it I can't win?

Coyotes and Sens both play tonight. Hope for a couple good tank losses.

Detroit plays Buffalo. Hope for a Detroit win in overtime.

Montreal plays Washington. Hope for Habs to pull out of their tail spin.

Caps were just "officially" eliminated from playoff contention. Maybe they'll be feeling a little blue.

The Jets doing the opposite of what the Blues did the year they won the Stanley Cup.

Cough Wheeler Cough.....stripped of his C before the season and man does Schiefele seem like an entitled athlete.

Pretty much a foregone conclusion Dubois will leave in the offseason. I'd be trying to get a Jets 1st round pick in 2026 or 2027 as it seems there is a reckoning coming that could have them floundering amongst the bottom in a few years.

I think Jets are more likely to trade players for Coyotes picks than Coyotes trading players for Jets picks.

Scheifele, Dubois and Hellebuyck could all be on the trade market this summer to prevent them from bolting for nothing.

Perhaps if that buffoon Chayka was still here....not BA who thinks the Coyotes are around 50% of their rebuild...and a proponent of building through the draft.

It will be interesting to see how negotiations go with Dubois in the offseason who is an RFA and a year from UFA. Can't see him wanting to sign anything other than another 1 year deal so he can determine his own future in 2024.

Yeah, he'll be traded if he doesn't sign long term. He's been clear that he won't sign long term. It's a major loss for the Jets.

We got the positive result there.
Pens are gonna beat the Wings unfortunately, which was the more significant of those two games imo.
At least we get to eat cake :thumbu:

My doctor says I don't need the icing.

I actually think Buffalo was. I don't want OTT moving up. I don't mind them staying where they are at. I'd love other teams to catch them but I think it's more important they don't catch other teams
