Watching the Kings vs Piss Knights game and PLD's motivation level looks about that of playing a mid-January, early start Saturday afternoon away game against an Eastern Conference team like the Sabres while it is snowing and -20 outside. I know he's gonna turn it around for a few games any game now but watching a guy that big, that strong and skilled be so mid in so many games is frustrating to watch.
So that wasn’t just me that thought he was floating? I only saw a little less than a period and that stood out for me.

Maybe he and Todd don’t see eye to eye…or maybe he’s heard the Habs are interested in him? 😂

That police video of Galchenyuk's arrest is just sad to watch

His dad trying to cover for him was harder for me to watch, TBH. I understand the line between "tough love" and "flat-out abuse" isn't clear for some people but by God, at the very least dad should have been the one dragging that boy to the police himself.

As for the words coming out of Galchenyuk's mouth? With how much liquor he's clearly had, he has less mens rea than someone with Tourette's, and in terms of how much actual cognition is going on, he's barely ahead of ChatGPT at that point. The man needs help and he needs a lot of it.

Leafs are so bad defensively it’s crazy

The past two seasons I felt the Leafs were a contender and I felt they had the pieces to win if things broke right. Not the favourites by any means but in the mix. This season I don’t really feel that way at this snap shot in time. The D core and more importantly the team defense feels too loose. Not sure if they have the pieces on the back end.

Not to mention their goaltending. If Joseph Woll is the answer, it must have been a rhetorical question.

I got my obligatory Leafs strike taking them to beat Chicago in like round 1B I think. Jets keep me alive for another day. Dallas and Carolina the only real monsters I got left to draw on.

I saw you took the Jets! Hope you win, would be nice to see someone from HF Jets take 'er this time.

Doesn't look like many in the NHL are flocking to wearing neck guards. Watching last nights LA/VGK game I only noticed two, Kopitar and Fiala wearing them.

If jets put Stanley on waivers, I bet leafs pluck him.

Just as NHL players don't look at me and worry about their job security, I've never felt my job security is threatened when I hear an NHL player has retired.

They're dumb.

Go read the kings post game threads, they talk about it every game. Honestly I don't know if it's going to get any better. I just don't think he has the passion for the sport.

If pld played like the player they thought they were getting that kings team would be unstoppable. They are a top team with him non-existent right now.

Yup they sure do but someone has made the determination that this is wear they are supposed to be worn to be effective, then again face shields are supposed to cover the eyes and yet countless players tilt the visor up offering no protection at all .
Nino's is so high he may as well not be wearing a shield.

I love claude giroux - he is a beast. I loved him when he was on the flyers and he just continues to be beastlike in ottawa at age 35. I think wheeler thinks he is like giroux but far from. Giroux can LEAD on the ice. I can only hope scheifele can age well like him.
