You ask all the players at the start of the playoffs if they would want to be in a game 7 to win it all. They would all say yes, Ask the same question today, and publicly you will get the same answer, and I promise this is how Maurice is selling this to his team. It's game 7, be happy to be here, no matter what happened before.

But I can tell you, one team is ecstatic being in a game 7, and the other team is wondering what they did to deserve this anguish.

yeah Panthers don't have momentum now....

BUT it can't get any better than this.
Hoping its not a blow out on either side.

Close game back and forth...... Late game goal , BETTER YET O.T. goal by EVANDER KANE ;)

Evan Bouchard is my pick to score the winning goal.

That's what happens when one team has Stuart Skinner and the other has Connor Hellebuyck  :sarcasm:

Just goes to show that preventing goals is more than just having a good goalie. Edmonton can take a mediocre goalie and with a team effort have one of the best playoff penalty kills we have ever seen. Nothing gets through, no tips out front, they don't let anyone screen him.

State of Arizona cancels land auction that the clown of Arizona was pretending he was going to purchase to build a pretend arena for a pretend team....looks like the ship has sailed on hockey in the southern desert!

Foregone conclusion that when he got the billion he was never going to follow through.

We won't see hockey in Arizona until someone who can actually get things done enters the fray, which could be decades.

Interesting how in the post game interview Maurice inadvertantly admitted that Knoblauch/Oilers coaching is better coach than he/Panthers are. At least in this area: He stated that there is no way he would have challenged for offside on the first Barkov goal. Knoblauch did.

That was a great challenge, and a huge goal to have wiped off at a very important moment in the game, right after the Oil scored.

Like it or lump it the Oilers are playing just plain good hockey up and down the line up. Their bottom 6 were amazing last night.

If they pull this off it will be remembered as one of the, if not the, greatest comebacks ever in hockey.

At this point it kind of feels like game 7 is more of a coronation for Edmonton since they have totally taken over now…….but……. Hockey is a very weird sport so we’ll see.
