I had so much hope when the Jets drafted him. And Provorov already wore out his welcome?

Not at all interested in bringing Laine back.

That is hard pass from both sides of that deal. Since Laine turned 20 he has had one 30 goal season. He will turn 26 in a couple of months and after this season ends it will be a half decade since he reached 30 goals in a season. In fairness he had 2 of his 4 season’s in Columbus where he was productive but he can’t stay healthy anymore so those were still mid 50 point type seasons.

I wonder if he still has the insane fan base?

Makes me so appreciate this seasons drama free team.

Oh shit i forgot about them.

That's dirty as shit. But it's head trauma and the DoPS has made it blatantly clear they don't actually care about that.
I wonder how the holier than thou Habs fans will frame this, considering Scheifele was branded a mass murderer for his legal hit on Evans.

Probaby going to go to his house with torches and pitchforks, right?

LA Kings are in a free fall, many thought they were ready to make the final four but if they continue the way they are playing they might find themselves out of the playoffs and Blake out of a job.
Almost like trading away all your depth and then counting on journeyman goaltending us a bad idea...

This is as dirty as it gets, hopefully the Montreal fans were phoning Gallagher's parents at home and threatening them eh ? Now obviously I'm not serious but glass houses.

Curious, When it is this intentional and If the islander player’s career is impacted because of this play.

Do insurance companies go after Gallagher to compensate for payment?

Clear intent by Gallagher optics look terrible, DOPS has to wake up, 10 games but he is geting a phone hearing so in all probability a fine
As its been said a million times, DOP(e)S is a joke. The NHL does not care about their players, that should be an in-person hearing. There is no reason for him to have his elbow that high. That was not an accidental hit.

I know that complaining about officials is a time honored part of sports and should always be taken with a grain of salt, but there hasn't been a sports executive as universally reviled as George Parros since the days of Jack Tunney. And even he eventually got it right by suspending Danny Davis for life!

Being serious again, I simply cannot comprehend how a man who heads a clothing line that celebrates hockey goonery could be seen as an adequate choice to administer punishments designed to keep players safe.

It looks like most MTL fans (on the main boards anyway) are not defending him.
How could you defend that ? Its impossible. Scheifele got 4 games in the playoffs for a first offense, going by that alone Gallagher should get at least 10 regular season games for this dirty hit . Little weasel.
