Kadri definitely isn’t having another year like this one. Is he a good player? Definitely. Did this year set him up to become one of the worst contracts in the league? Absolutely.

Kadri contract will be interesting for sure. He's a great 2nd line center, but someone might pay him like a #1 and that will be a huge mistake.

But things like this sometimes happen. Like paying 11mil x7 years for a 2nd line center in Tavares. Who might not even be a center next season if Friedman has a hunch of what's going to happen...

ESPN prefers their broadcasts to suck. So between their shitty studio converage, Emily Kaplan, terrible camera work & a play by play guy who sounds like he'd rather be doing anything else but calling a hockey game, they're doing a great job.
