It will be a series of which goalie will get reamed more than his peer. Mike Smith will Mike Smith. Kuemper is beatable as well.

Panarin will try his hardest to deny it but we're stronger than that.

Getting to game 7 is probably the most bang for your buck on the Copp deal. Keep the first rounder and play 14 games of playoff hockey, i'll take it.

Much rather win the series, but i've made my peace. We've outlasted some really good teams.

I hope the boys dig deep and come up with a series win. The 1st rounder is nice, but going toe to toe with the reigning champs in a very deep playoff run is another level entirely.

Tampa is now well rested. Would we be able to win all of our home games? I would be really impressed if this team could pull something out like that.... I just believe physically they have hit a wall. That's not something 1 day off will fix.

Yep, I don’t care about that first round pick. We haven’t been blown out in any game this series (though we did play like crap last game) and I don’t think anyone thought we could even hang with Carolina. Win game 7 and see what happens. You surprise people and get past Tampa? It’s the best goalie in the world versus either of two goalies/defenses that can’t save their own lives. We’re playing the team that just won the Jennings. If we can make it to the ECF, any other opponent we run up against is theoretically easier for us to score against, and Igor has been every bit as good as his reputation.

Beat Vasi in game one and anything can happen. There’s a reason the games are played rather than simulated. There are 5 teams left in the NHL right now. In my opinion, any of the 5 can win it. It would likely be another slog through 6/7 games for us, and I don’t even like how we’re playing, but anything can happen. And imagine, if you will (I know, it kind of hurts since it’s just pretend) a world where Kreider goes beast mode for a few games and actually uses his body and puts up a few points? Or the 4th line chips in one or two goals? Or any one of the kids has a little burst of confident brilliance.

I can see them getting him AND Kadri.
