Makar is great offensively, world class, but he’s still learning the defensive side. Slowly. Very slowly. He’s barely NHL Level on that side and he may never get it. He’s not a complete player. I’d still take Fox. And a good handful of other D Men over him.

The only thing Makar really has over Fox is his skating. He's a slightly better point producer but he's also more injury prone and the difference in production isn't super drastic. If you put Fox with the Av's forward group he'd easily make up that gap

Makar is also way more physical than Fox, plus he has a much better shot. Fox matches up better with intangibles like his IQ & agility.
 
Genius is saying "He is better than all of the Rangers put together". Like, 3rd grade level genius.

You really don't sound like a Rangers fan above. At all.

I'm not watching but I refreshed nhl.com a few times in the past 5 minutes. What the f*** is actually happening in that game.

Edit: refreshed again! 4-4!? You gotta be kidding me lol
