I know their top end talent is great... I'm not sold on them though.

I see a lot of Florida in them. They haven't been pushed or tested. Haven't been slowed down. We'll see what happens... I could see them losing the Cup Finals

Yep. But there’s really no appropriate discipline there. He fell on the goalie. It’s a penalty I guess but what can the league really do about that. It’s something players just shouldn’t do. There are a hundred times every game one player could do something to hurt another player “accodentally” but they don’t. But the league has a few guys who just don’t care. Kadri is one of them.

Edit: I don’t even mind agitating a goalie. What Carter did was dicky but really not dangerous. Lucic too. And both goalies were well within bounds to sell those bumps too. Snow shower a goalie? Of course. Poke at his glove a couple extra times? Sure. But jumping on a goalie is too dangerous.

He didn't just fall on the goalie, he banged the defenseman off balance just enough knowing he had nowhere else to fall but into his own goalie while he barreled in as well. No way that way incidental or unplanned...Kadri is such a dirty POS, he gets no benefit of the doubt from me, nor should he from anyone.

Yep. There was no hockey play there so he turned it into chaos. He probably didn’t intend to hurt Binnington but it’s just reckless and disrespectful. No one does that. That’s the difference between a skilled agitator and a clown. But it worked for the Avalanche like it worked for the Caps against the Pens in 2018.
 
They have Johnson and Johnson. They have Byram and Makar. There is a massive weakness there waiting to be exploited. The kids are good but they lack experience.

I'd take 1/2 of Buch production from Panarin in round 2
