Right? I thought we were gonna get steamrolled by the Canes. I mean, we still can these next two games. But this has been a far more winnable series, thus far, for us than the Pens series.

That's why I was shocked how many people were super pissed after game 2. We played them a lot closer than expected even in the two games we lost.

Raising my hand. I thought we’d get murked by the Canes. Even after game 2 and a 2-0 series deficit my feelings completely changed and that this was very winnable. Hopefully the Rangers spoon feed me all that crow.

Mcdavid took every comment that "he cant carry them to a cup himself" personally.
This is his vengence tour.
I also think they have no shot against Colorado, but my bracket had calgary winning the cup so what do I know.
Yeah I don’t see Edmonton putting up much of a fight against Colorado.

Their series with Calgary so far is some terrible quality playoff hockey. Both teams just said f*** it on defense. It won’t fly against Colorado.

I don't think Colorado has been great defensively in their series either.

McDavid is out there just straight up ruining reputations.

I'm blown away with McDavid's performance. Like truly blown away. Calgary was in the driver seat too in Game 1. I mean 9 goals to this? What the hell happened there?

Colorado is making quick work of St. Louis who IMO is one of the better teams of the 16. Great series, may end tonight.

I'm honestly surprised how the COL - STL game has gone.... same with the CGY - EDM.

They are playing a wide open game... doesn't make any sense to me.

Calgary's biggest problem has been Markstrom.

StL hasn't been that bad honestly. Losing Binnington and then the dumb assery in game 4 has put them in a tough spot. They'll probably go around chasing their pound of flesh tonight too.

Yeah both are very surprising. Not sure who you were referring to with wide open game, I'm guessing you mean Calgary? I'm going to put it more on McDavid as a positive rather than on the Calgary team as a negative, but their game plan vs McDavid and Leon is curious.

The way Colorado has been handling St. Louis makes me absolutely confident in my 2 tickets I put on the Avs to win the Cup. If it comes down to Avs vs Rangers, oh baby.

I think Avalanche could be slowed down. It will take an elite goalie like Shesty or Vasi as well.

Husso has been letting in backbreakers and STL as a whole have been having a lot breakdowns

CGY missed Tanev. Big injury. Markstrom has been pedestrian

the way he started out last game was horrendous

On Sirius XM, Rupp just said Smith lost the puck because of the fans, and because the Oilers wore dark blue jerseys. Rupp also literally just said that no team wears dark jerseys...

How does this idiot have a job? He was a garbage player and he's a garbage "analyst".

I think it’s a little silly to say Edmonton would be an easy opponent for anyone, including Colorado, right now. McDavid is flat out unstoppable at the moment and putting together what could be a performance for the history books. Meanwhile, Colorado isn’t the deepest or toughest team with the best goaltending. They have an elite offensive core. Certainly their D is better looking than Edmonton, but Edmonton’s offense could theoretically beat Colorado at their own game.

I think Edmonton has enough speed to play with Colorado. The pace of their series with the Kings was surprisingly fast, and now they've shown that they can handle Calgary's system-produced speed. What makes Colorado so deadly once they're in the o-zone though is their telepathic unit-of-5 rotation.

Yes it would basically be the best offensive unit in the league vs the best offensive player in the world. Would I lean Colorado? Definitely. Would I be surprised if McDavid (if supporting cast like Kane stayed hot) was able to make it a series and possibly steal it? Nope. Would be a good matchup and one we’re likely to get.

I love Rupper. Very fair analyst imo. Also a great guy, he was sitting in my row wearing a Rangers hat last night. I of course gave him some shit for working the Penguins broadcasts last series and he was a good sport about it.

McDavid has the capability to carry the Oilers to a Cup win, no doubt in my mind. Mike Smith is going to make him earn it though

Caps announce Wilson had ACL surgery. Out 6-8 months.

Herman Munster knew he had to go out into the world and work to support his family, so he became Jared Bednar.

I really hope MacKinnon gets paid big time next contract. Having both Makar and MacKinnon is so unfair.

Nick Leddy is getting clowned all over

When Avs enter your zone, it's
