If it's not the Rangers McDavid just destroying teams on the way to the cup would be cool. If not them then a Lightning threepeat would be cool. I like dominant teams and players.

McDavid will go down as the most talented player to ever play the game. Don’t know if he’ll surpass Gretzk. But he’s for sure the most talented AINEC.
McDavid is putting up playoff numbers that haven't been seen since Gretzky... With out the overall support that Gretzky had in an era where its much harder to score.
I mean he has to continue to do this, but he's been as dominant as any player I've ever seen this post season. His game 7 against LA was so hilariously dominant and its a minor tragedy that he only ended up with 2 points in that game.

I would prefer literally anything but that. Year on year of the same team/person winning is as interesting as watching paint dry... unless you happen to be a fan of them, that is.

I watched Crosby and Ovechkin in their primes. McDavid is better. The only question is whether McDavid can do it for as long as Sid and Alex.

There has never been a McDavid and it will be rare to see one again. His agility and stickhandling at top speed is truly a joy to watch. He has insane work ethic and continues to improve. Hasn't even peaked yet.
I hope he advances because he truly is the best thing for the game. He needs to be shown to the world

I think Crosby was a better two-way player in his prime, though. And Ovechkin has the better shot between both. McDavid is the better offensive player overall in their primes, though.

Not sure if the numbers bear it out or where I’d find them but it seems like the league is really approaching the playoffs differently this year. Maybe due to the positive media attention of the high scoring season overall and a lot of skill guys having career years, but I feel like were seeing a lot more penalties and goals all around this postseason and less of that whole swallow the whistles, biggest team wins sort of postseason that we’ve gotten used to.

McDavid's ability to manipulate the puck at high speed is insane. That move last game where he deked going around the D, got the D turned completely the wrong way, and in one motion had the puck back in the middle of the ice was nuts. And even when guys manage to get a body on him he mostly just bounces off it maintaining control. His agility, balance, speed, hands, and IQ are completely off the charts.

My wife has become a hockey nut since she met me (15 years ago). She's not into the regular season like I am, but when the playoffs roll around she is a huge fan.
We were watching McDavid last night and she was having trouble putting her finger on what made him so great. She understands the game pretty well overall, but I just said to her that he's as good as anyone at pretty much everything offensively, particularly stick handling and passing. But he does everything significantly faster than everyone else. He's just so damn fast for a relatively big guy.
Just an absolute joy to watch that guy.

Seriously tho if this is true I would not be the happiest person if my team was down 3-0 and several players were out partying until 3am.
