Maybe I have amnesia but I don’t remember so many future 1sts being given away at the deadline, and I mean like 2 years out not just this year or next year

Here
My God.

Whoever comes out of the East should murder the Western team that makes it to the final.

If this were a traditional round robin tournament, as it stands today based on p%, the series would be

Bruins - Pens
Canes - Sabres
Devils - Jets
Leafs - Kraken
Lightning - Wild
Knights - Oilers
Rangers - Kings
Stars - Avs

6 of the 8 series with the East team the higher seed. It very well could finish 7 out of 8 - and this is with all of the good West teams competing against 5 Western teams that are in the bottom 6 of the league

Instead, the East will chop each other to pieces (as it stands today)

Bruins - Isles, Pens or Buff
Canes - Isles, Pens or Buff
Devils - Rangers
Leafs - Lightning

Who knew that Beauvillier was a useful player?

Is there anything easier than scouting in hockey? There's literally one criteria. Be hard on pucks. All you have to is take the time to do a libero on a guy.

Canes are in on him because of course

does any team wanna make a trade in the west that is actually going to improve their team? The west is a joke and wide open (unless the Avs really get healthy and catch fire). I give credit to the Knights for at least trying they just don't have anymore assets to give it seems.
I mean the Kings could pull it off if they want.

McDavid with an early goal, now 1 away from 50. This is his 61st game and he's 11 away from tying Matthews' Richard Trophy leading 60 from last year.
Guy is just a freak having one hell of a season

So far Kravtsov looks just as he did here, confused/lost with coverage in his own end and really the same thing on the offensive side of the puck. Boeser has a puck where he is getting turned around with his back to the net and Kravtsov is casually backskating in the opposite direction behind defending players so he is not available in an accessible passing lane.

We’ll see if he engages more as time goes on. But same stuff.

he hasn't played a game in like 2 months, lets give him some time

Vancouver's blueline is horrific. And once Hughes demands out to Jersey they'll be even worse.

Behind the back pass to spring Studnicka, nice. Tried a puck battle along the boards, kinda was in good position but lost Johnston on a break in
