Why is that? Garland is a much better player than Fischer.
 
I can’t be the only one who hates seeing the player bar on top of the player for the PP? It’s like I’m watching NHL on PS.
 
Huh. ESPN just did a quick thing that Bedard randomly/luckily met Erik karlsson when he was a kid. I swear when I first heard of Bedard I heard he was the son of former Wings goalie coach Jim Bedard and that was a fact I thought I knew for like 3 years now.

Not at superstar money. Massive doubts about the kind of numbers he puts up with centers not named Crosby and Malkin. That and he'll be 30. His next contract will be about as ugly as Scheifele's.
 
Couple of you have jokingly accused me in the past of being a Chicago fan because I live there. I assure you… I promise you… I hate the Hawks more than any of you. I have to put up with this shit daily, and especially twice a week at my league games where 80% of my teammates are Hawks fans. It’s brutal. I hate this. My hockey buddy WhatsApp channel is effing intolerable right now.

Red Wings legend Yamamoto making his debut for Seattle. Had a fee good shifts early. I actually wouldn’t m have minded keeping him. Was the contract the issue?

Yamamoto was simply the cost of acquiring Kostin, the guy Yzerman was actually after. Yamamoto isn’t an Yzerman type of player.

Agreed. I know I shouldn't be but I was surprised when I saw those patches.

I guess I can understand why Blackhawks fans would want to memorialize him though. Without his cozy relationship with Bettman the franchise might have actually gotten punished for covering up a coach sexually assaulting a player and they might not have gotten Bedard.

Agree on the contract. I think he could score centered by most top 6 guys though. I like him for his scoring instincts.

Would ultimately save the money for Pettersson’s contract though. :naughty:
